The main body of CDN configuration changes have now been successfully applied with no interruption to services. We are now moving onto a testing phase in order to ensure that all the Altmetric applications have retained normal functionality and will then continue to monitor closely until the end of the maintenance window.

Altmetric will be undergoing planned maintenance to its content distribution network. The expected impact of the changes involved are short interruptions to the Altmetric Explorer, Altmetric Detail Pages and corporate website. Whilst no significant downtime is expected, both sets of changes are significant interventions and carry a medium to high risk of extended downtime. Contingency/rollback plans are in place for both operations in the event this occurs. Updates will be posted as the maintenance work progresses and in case of any unexpected outages.
